jackharlowsloofah (previously and most commonly known as emmuhlu), also known by her name Emma Lu, is an American TikToker and singer who became known for being a 'Barb' and for promoting progressive/liberal politics.

In May 2020, she released her debut song called Sick Girl.[6]

Emma regularly described herself as being a 'Barb' (Nicki Minaj fan), and participated in Barbz4Bernie, a hashtag on TikTok where Nicki Minaj fans would support Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primaries.[7] She would regularly feud with conservative TikToker Nickvideos because of their opposing political opinions.[8][9][10]

She has regularly talked about her mental health.

Around late 2021, after her original account was banned,[citation needed] she made a new account with the username @jackharlowsloofah.

Controversy[]

In April 2020, videos from 2016[11] to 2019 of Emma saying the n-word resurfaced.[12] She was criticized by users on TikTok, and was also criticized by the rapper/singer Cardi B.[13][14] She would afterwards post an apology.

She has also been somewhat accused of using a 'blaccent'.[15]

She would in May 2021, talk about the controversy on the podcast Out of Character, hosted by TikToker @hamzahthefantastic.[11]

In 2023, she became controversial due to her transphobic/TERF (trans-exclusionary radical feminist) views.[16]
