Gen-Z for Change (formerly known as TikTok for Biden) is a political organization and account on TikTok that advocates for racial justice, environmental justice, LGBTQ+ rights and more. It was founded by Aidan Kohn-Murphy, also known as @aidanpleasestoptalking. The members mainly consist of young TikTokers.

The TikTok profile contains videos recorded by the organization's members, with each video focusing around a particular political subject.

History[]

Gen-Z for Change was originally founded under the name TikTok for Biden, to help Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election. Following the election, the account was committed to getting Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock elected into the senate. Since then, the account has focused on non-electoral politics too.[3]

White House briefing[]

In March 2022, Gen-Z for Change helped organize a briefing between government officials and social media influencers about the Russo-Ukrainian war, which inspired a sketch on Saturday Night Live.[4]
