I Love You So is a song by the band The Walters. The song initially gained popularity on TikTok in September to October 2021, with Chicago Reader reporting that it gained popularity during the summer of 2021.[12][13]
Content & Popularity[]
The song was mainly used in videos that were intended to be emotional. Some users would discuss the different ways the line 'but i love you so - please let me go' could be interpreted. One trend included users using the song as background music to them outlining pictures of finger-hearts.[14]
Due to the popularity of the song on TikTok, the band would reunite, along with finalizing a deal with Warner Records.[15][16]
