Spencer is most known for their 'daily scream' series where they rant about things that have happened to them. They would regularly rant about the customers at their work, along with college-related problems.

Luis Bergen

In December 2020, Spencer revealed that they were in a relationship with Luis Bergen, but in March–April 2021, after Spencer deleted all of their posts on Instagram with Luis, along with Spencer making a video lip-syncing 'I hate all men', and Luis making a video telling people not to make any assumptions as they don't know what happened, it was assumed that Spencer and Luis broke up. This was confirmed when Spencer started a live-stream discussing the break-up.

Following the break-up, Luis also became the subject of controversy after users found out he had been saying the n-word while claiming to be black, with Luis showing a DNA test of him being 11.2% Sub-Saharan African.

Good 4 U

On May 20, 2021, Spencer posted a video of them dancing to the song 'Good 4 U' by Olivia Rodrigo while accidentally tripping, having also previously and regularly posted videos of themselves dancing to the song. Following the video, Spencer was mocked by users on the platform, leading to a hate-train^[?] from some users against Spencer, along with some users mocking their appearance, and some users also accusing them of appropriating AAVE. They were also criticized by some users for stating that they wanted to have intercourse with the K-Pop band BTS.
