Vinnie would also state that the two were not dating.

2020 election

After the results of the 2020 American election had been announced and Joe Biden had won, Vinnie said in a (now deleted) video 'yes im super stoked biden won but im still lonely'. He would later get criticized/mocked for the statement.

N-word accusations

In July 2021, Vinnie was accused of having said the n-word in a live-stream, however he later stated that he was thanking a user 'Nikki' for her donation, which some users might have misheard as he had spoken fast.

In December 2021, Vinnie was accused of lip-syncing the word to the song 'The Grinch' by Trippie Red. Vinnie later stated that he wasn't lip-syncing to the song, but instead had said 'oh easy' to the caption he had put, 'get me a donut and i'll be your girlfriend', with a picture of a cartoon character.
